What is the battery life of Trakbond GPS tracker?
Similar to your smartphone, the battery life of Trakbond may vary depending on how its used. Trakbond uses a variety of algorithm to maximize the battery life. For instance, that tracker will automatically go into Power Saver mode when it's still at a place for more than 5 minutes. During this mode, the tracker will not be connected to cellular and satellite signal to conserve the battery and LEDs of the device will go off.
In Power Saver mode, tracker shows the last known location of your child in the mobile app. During this time, the Trakbond looks for vibration and motion in a very low power operation. When the tracker gets in motion again, the Trakbond exits from this mode and sends the location again to the mobile app.

How to maximize your Trakbond's battery life?
By setting up safe-zones
Make sure to set up Safe-zones and Safe-zones Alerts for frequently visited locations of your child.
Common places should be home, school, daycare, after school care, sporting practice/field, etc. Once you have defined these places, your Trakbond will be able to reduce power usage during its stay.
Don’t keep it in cold
Avoid keeping your Trakbond device in extreme cold as the
battery life of the consumer electronic goods degrade if exposed to cold
weather for a long time.
